Asia Muhammad has made back to back finals of the last two tournaments. The First was a $25K Launceston, Australia. Asia played a fantastic tournament only dropping one set to fellow GSC player Ellen Perez.

Returning back to her native homeland of The United States, Asia played the $25K Rancho Santa Fe in the beautiful sun just like the Australian summer she had come from.

Asia picked up her first title of 2018 in California, saving 5 match points along the way to come through 7-6(3) in the deciding set to pick up the trophy. Most noticeably Asia beat three fellow americans, PLUS two top 100 scalps to be the 2018 champion.

“Im feeling very confident with how I am playing, so I kept believing that I can do it and focused on my gameplan. It is always extra special to win a match after having saved match points, but in the final, for the title, it was crazy!”
