Career Highlights

Isabelle (Izzy) now has two ITF tournament wins – in Tunisia, and has played in all four Grand Slam Junior Championships.

2014 Highlights

Highlights for the year for Izzy in 2013 were winning the Sfax ITF in Tunisia beating Irina Shymanovich 7-5, 6-1, and also in Tunisia winning the Monastir ITF doubles event with Katie Boulter, beating their Austrian opponents 7-5, 6-1.
She also gained excellent Grand Slam experience at Roland Garros, Wimbledon and Flushing Meadows.
In January 2014 Izzy played in the Australian Open Junior Championship, reaching the quarter final with Fanni Stollar. She went one better in Lithuania in February in reaching the quarters in both singles and doubles, losing close fought matches in both. Travelling to Spain her good form continued with a finals appearance in the doubles at the Vinaros ITF, partnering Natalya Vikhlyantseva, and also in the semis in the singles. Remaining on excellent form, this time in Benicario, Spain, Izzy once more reached the finals of the doubles (this time with Elena Ruse) and semis in singles – a tremendous performance coming on top of the previous week’s competition in Spain. Next in Belgium, at the Astrid Bowl event, Izzy continued her doubles success, reaching the semi finals with Regina Clark.
Her doubles prowess was evidenced at Roehampton, England, in June, where she and Freya Christie fought through to the semi-finals (losing narrowly to their Spanish opponents). Next came Junior Wimbledon where Izzy played very well in two rounds of the main draws of singles and doubles. In August Izzy had a great run in the Winnipeg $25k reaching the semis where she eventually lost to Mayo Hibi, and also reached the quarters of the Canadian Open Juniors doubles event. She followed up in September featuring in the main draws of the US Open Juniors.

Year to Date

She soon experienced success at Jiangmen in China, reaching the quarter final of singles and doubles there. Issy is based in Spain at a top level academy working on developing her game for success at the WTA tour events.
